The Viareggio Carnival is one of the most important Carnival events in Italy. The city turns into a true open air Museum featuring various events: the giant, allegorical papiermache' floats, the Viareggio Carnival's peculiarity, dedicated to some of the most known and leading Italian and international charcaters.
