Metropole & Suisse Au Lac - Como

Founded in 1892, the Hotel Metropole & Suisse Au Lac in Como boasts a long tradition of hospitality. Some of its famous Italian guests have been the prima ballerina Carla Fracci, the actor and playwright Peppino De Filippo and, more recently, the bubbly "showgirl" Michelle Hunziker. The hotel is located right on the lake in the heart of the city and offers tasteful, elegantly decorated guestrooms. The hotel's "Imbarcadero" restaurant serves the best of both Italian and international cuisines in its splendid salon or on the summer terrace facing onto the lake.

Hotel Regina Palace - Stresa

The four-star Regina Palace stands in the centre of Stresa facing onto Maggiore Lake and the Borromean Islands. The hotel, which opened in 1908, maintains its fin de siècle charm, even after a recent and complete renovation. In the early 1900s, the expansion of such legendary train routes as the Orient Express brought to this prestigious and historical hotel many illustrious guests, such as the composer Pietro Mascagni, Queen Sophia of Greece and other Italian and international nobles. The hotel's unique blend of the past and the present make for a memorable stay in one of its 214 rooms and suites, which are all decorated with period furniture and fitted with modern comforts and amenities.

Hotel Galileo - Milano

The Hotel Galileo is a modern, four-star hotel with 89 rooms located in the historical centre of Milan. Even though it is a large hotel, the Galileo boasts personalised, attentive service and welcoming spaces, such as its café and restaurant. Its excellent service and strategic location make it a popular choice with musicians, such as the Italian singers Riccardo Cocciante, Laura Pausini and Francesco De Gregori, as well as Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.

Hotel Ovest - Piacenza

The Hotel Ovest is strategically located between the centre of Piacenza and its major highways. It has always been distinguished for its welcoming spirit, quality services, attention to detail and openness to technological innovation. It is a favourite amongst sports figures and has often hosted the Torino football team and their coach Giampiero Ventura. To further satisfy its clients' needs, the hotel has recently increased the number and type of its guestrooms. As well, it has two car parks, a garage, a fitness area, a business lounge, a restaurant and three meeting rooms.

Hotel Saturnia & International - Venice

The Hotel Saturnia & International enjoys a strategic location right in the centre of Venice. It is just a short walk from San Marco Square and the "Fenice" Theatre and close to the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. Many music and film stars, such as the Brazilian jazz guitarist Gilberto Gil Italian and the Italian actor Margherita Buy, have stayed there. The hotel's renowned "La Caravella" restaurant used to be called Ciro's Bar and was a favourite of the French writer Simone de Beauvoir. Since 1963, it has been one of the best restaurants in Venice, offering local cuisine in an elegant and romantic ambience with excellent service.

Hotel Il Negresco - Forte dei Marmi

The elegant, four-star superior Hotel Il Negresco is located on the famous seaside esplanade of Forte dei Marmi. This part of the Tuscan coast, known as Versilia, is one of the most famous on the Tyrrhenian Riviera. It leads to the renowned ancient hillside villages called the "Cinque Terre" and offers a wonderful view of both the sea in front and the Apuan Alps behind. The hotel has 40 elegant rooms, all with balconies, and has hosted such Italian celebrities as TV star Valeria Marini, singer Eros Ramazzotti and actor Martina Stella.

Hotel Plaza e de Russie - Viareggio

The historical Hotel Plaza & De Russie is a four-star hotel located right on the seaside esplanade of Viareggio. It was originally built in 1871 and has been completed renovated with the addition of a splendid panoramic terrace. It comes as no surprise that many Italian celebrities have stayed here, including: the director Pupi Avati, the actor Toni Servillo, the Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo and the comic actor Carlo Verdone. The hotel has maintained its fin de siècle charm thanks to its marble finishings, Murano glass chandeliers and period furniture. Its 51 rooms are elegantly decorated with wood parquet floors and travertine marble in the bathrooms and offer the best modern comforts and amenities.

Grand Hotel Duomo - Pisa

The Grand Hotel Duomo is located only 50 metres from Pisa's famous Cathedral and its "Leaning Tower".
