Fiuggi Hotels
Fiuggi, in the Region of Lazio, was already famous in ancient times for the beneficial properties of its waters.
Its ancient Baths were built on a hill in the heart of the Ernici Mountains.
The modern city of Fiuggi Fonte lies lower down the hill and includes new residential areas as well as Baths, which are part of one of the most important spas in Italy.
One of the main tourist attractions is the radioactive water springs which are ideal for treating kidney problems.
As well, every July brings the assigning of the 'Fiuggi Prize'; one of the most important literary awards in Italy.
