Space Hotels will be at BTC International 2008, at the new Exhibition Centre in Rome, from 6 to 7 November 2008, with facts and figures attesting to its success. Firstly, the number of affiliated hotels has increased dramatically. Secondly, in response to an rising demand for conference spaces, more attention is being given to business. Thirdly, the number of affiliated hotels creating or enhancing their business offers is increasing. The group has confirmed its awareness of emerging trends, particularly the business and wellness combination. Many of the hotels in its directory offer, along with their conference rooms, spas and wellness centres in which to relax after hours of exhausting meetings. New arrivals
New entries to the Space Hotels Group this year are: the Rizzi Aquacharme Hotel & Spa in Boario Terme; the 4 Viale Masini Design Hotel and the HC3 Hotel in Bologna; the Miglio d'Oro Park Hotel in Herculaneum; the Grand Hotel Oriente in Naples; the Accademia Palace Hotel in Pisa; the Poggio del Sole Resort in Ragusa; the Hotel Villa Vecchia in Rome-Frascati; the Hotel Garden in Siena; the Hotel degli Imperatori in Rome. Furthermore, the Hub in Milano and the Hotel Plaza & de Russie in Viareggio, both with meeting rooms, will join the group next year.

Space for meetings
Along with the new entry, Hotel degli Imperatori di Roma, many other Space affiliated hotels have improved their ability to host events and conferences: the Hotel Al Cappello Rosso in Bologna has added a 25-seat room to their offer; the Atlantic Palace in Firenze has created a 20-seat room; the Hotel Rialto in Venice and the Italia in Verona have opened new spaces seating from 40 to 60 people. For each hotel page, the meeting room capacities are precisely indicated by a number on an armchair symbol, which is taken from the image on the directory cover. Moreover, all meeting spaces are indicated in tables providing their name, location, dimensions, characteristics and capacities including all layout options (U-shaped, amphitheatre, rows, etc.).
